Skumring i Dyrehaven - Twilight in the forest

Today I went for a twilight walk together with a friend in a big forest close to Copenhagen. And suddenly we met a lot of deers. (See the pictures.) It was magnificant! Most of them stood still and watched us but some also walked pass us quite casually. But the most fantastic experience was that apperently it was the season for the male deers to fight. So only 50 metres from us male was crashing into male, antlers against antlers. And when a fight was won then the male was roaring so that noone (especially not the female deers) would doubt who was the winner. There were a lot of aggresivity in the air and I was in constant fear that we would be some of the victims (what do I know about deer fights?) but we got home save and sound.
