Sans for detaljen - A sense of detail

Today we had the first recording with me as the hostess of our new TV program for children. I bind all the many elements together, that you have seen pictures of here on the blog the past several months.

We really experienced to "walk in prepared deeds”, for it seemed like God had planned the whole thing into more detail than we could possible have done. He just put in the the right extras throughout.

When I was to talk about creation, we were shooting next to an elephant house in a garden in Copenhagen but there were no elephants outdoors and a guard explained to us that the elephants can decide when they were in the mood to go outside and when not. But just when I had to begin my speech about creation, the elephants stormed out and gave us lots of fun shots.

When I later was talking about how much God loves children and wants to listen to them, suddenly lots of children were running past behind me down a little hill.

And when I was talking about how amazing God has created your body so that even people with disabilities can do a lot different things – can you believe it - a bunch of people in wheelchairs, formed the perfect background image for us.

One must say that God has a sense of detail!

Forventningens glæde - The joy of anticipation

Fandt trommerne frem.
Satte lys. Stillede kameraer klar.

Last Friday I started to look forward to this
Over the weekend I had to smile in anticipation.
Monday likewise.
Tuesday I imagined how funny it would be.
Wednesday, there was almost no time, but managed nevertheless to think through my expectations.
Thursday I was looking forward again.

And finally came Friday. All morning I was anticipating with joy.
During the lunch break I had to smile.

We started to prepare the stage.
Put performance clothes on the puppet.
Found the drums.
Set lights.
Placed the cameras in the right positions.

And finally they arrived! The dear teen puppeteers who were going to make two music videos. I guess I will never stop being amused by puppets singing into a microphone, do dance moves and playing guitar.

Thank you teens! You are mega-talented and patient. Hope that your arms are not hurting too much today.

Lidt af hvert - A little of this, a little of that

Yeah! Livet er sjovt!

It is a long time since I have written on the blog. I have unfortunately had a virus on the balance nerve, which made life somewhat more difficult in five weeks with lots of dizziness. Sometimes I had to lie down and work. Other times I had to just take it quite calm for several days in a row. Now I am back to more or less normal again, and it feels so wonderful to be able to live life fully again without everything flying around me.

Here in June, we continue recording for our TV program. This Monday we met with our children reporters Joachim and Julie to make their first recording.
Today and the rest of the week we have recording of more Bible stories. Friday we are also going to shoot two music videos with our puppets. Yeah! Life is fun!
