Her i torsdags mødtes jeg med nogle af mine gamle børneklubbørn. Det var helt fantastisk og helt sikkert et af dette besøgs højdepunkter. Jeg havde fået sponsoreret bibler til dem, der kom, og det var fantastisk at se deres glæde. En pige sagde, at hun ville begynde på Lukasevangeliet, med det samme hun kom hjem. En anden pige skrev senere på aftenen en SMS og fortalte, at hun nu havde læst fem kapitler i Matthæusevangeliet.
Det var godt at høre, at de fleste af pigerne tager på sommerlejr igen I år og jeg lovede, at jeg ville sende dem en pakke fra Schweiz, mens de var på lejr.
Last Thursday I met with some of my old Good News Club children. It was fantastic and really one of the highlights of this visit. I had got someone to sponsor Bibles to them and it was fantastic to see there joy. One girl said, that she would begin with the Gospel of Luke as soon as she came home. Another girl send me an SMS later that night and said that she had now read five chapters of Matthew.
It was good to hear that most of the girls will go to camp this summer and I promised to send them a parcel from Switzerland to enjoy at camp.
