My blog has almost been dead, but let me try to bring it back to life ... I have been quite squashy the past month and therefore did not have the energy to write. This was due to problems in relation to our television production. However excited that we were about producing TV programs for children, we also started to realise that there was a huge misunderstanding in relation to the television station, we worked with. Instead of CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship), being responsible for the program, the TV station really wanted to have much more influence on the program, and it was so time consuming that it was not realistic to produce a new show each week. Therefore we had to terminate the partnership shortly before New Year. It was very sad and has given us sleepless nights, because we really wanted to do children's television and thought of all the children in Denmark who need to hear about God.
Fortunately, God still had a plan, so a few days later I was contacted by another TV station called KKR/TV, which also wanted to make children's television again. KKR/TV has 25 years experience in television and has made lots of children's television over the years. We've had a few meetings with them and have now entered into a partnership. I look so much forward to continuing making children's television and it will be broadcasted across most of the country and via the Internet. The idea remains that beyond all the children who come to watch the program in their homes, we can also offer children's clubs and Sunday schools to use the programs (or parts of them) if they have no possibilities to prepare teaching or devotions themselves. This is unfortunately very often the case in Denmark these days.
On Saturday I met with my wonderful puppeteers, which were all ready to continue the production so that makes me very happy too! This week I am meeting with some key persons from KKR/TV and I am so excited about it all. Our goal is to broadcast each week from May.
